Meet the Brock’s: Future Homeowners of our 23rd Home Build

We are eager to introduce the Brock family, the future homeowners of our 23rd home build! This incredible family of five has deep roots in the community and is dedicated to making a lasting impact both in and outside their home.

Originally from Missouri, Mrs. Brock met her now husband and made the move to Georgia. Fast forward eleven years and three wonderful kids later, they have firmly planted themselves in Jackson County. As a sports-loving family, they enjoy spending time together at sporting events, cheering on their favorite teams, and fostering a love for athletics in their children.

They’re both passionate educators, Mrs. Brock serves as a therapist specializing in emotional intelligence, helping individuals develop self-awareness and resilience. Mr. Brock, in addition to his work in education, coaches’ football and track in Franklin County, shaping the lives of young athletes both on and off the field.

Faith is at the heart of everything the Brocks do. They are a family deeply rooted in their love for God, which guides their commitment to serving others. Whether volunteering for local events, supporting community initiatives, or simply lending a helping hand, they strive to make a difference wherever they can. They are true examples of putting God’s love into action.

One thing that keeps life exciting in the Brock household? A friendly sports rivalry! Mrs. Brock is a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan, while Mr. Brock proudly supports the Atlanta Falcons. While their NFL loyalties may be divided, their shared love for football—and their family—always brings them together.

As they prepare to move into their new Habitat home, the Brock family looks forward to continuing their mission of giving back, building relationships, and creating a space where love, faith, and community thrive. Jackson County Habitat for Humanity is honored to be part of their journey and cannot wait to celebrate this milestone with them!

If you’d like to lend a hand in helping the Brock family complete their home, check out our volunteer calendar (Volunteer Registration – Jackson County Habitat for Humanity) to sign up for an upcoming build day. Every effort counts, and together, we can make their dream a reality! We are excited to be able to welcome this family home, this spring!

With love and appreciation,
