The Harris House project is continuing to make tremendous progress as our construction team works toward completing this long-term home repair effort.
Since earlier this year, our affiliate has been transforming the Harris House, tackling a wide range of repairs and improvements to ensure the home is safe, functional, and welcoming.
One of the biggest milestones recently achieved was the installation of the home’s new cabinets. These additions have dramatically changed the appearance of the interior and help bring the vision for the completed home to life. Alongside the cabinetry, new light fixtures have also been installed throughout the house, adding both functionality and an updated look to the living space.
Perhaps the most exciting development of all is that the electricity is now on. Having power restored marks a significant step forward in the renovation process and allows our team to continue making progress on the final stages of the project.
The Harris House has been an ongoing labor of love for our staff, volunteers, and community supporters. From extensive interior repairs to improvements around the property, countless hours have been dedicated to ensuring this home receives the care and attention it deserves.
