Dear Friends and Supporters,
As Jackson County Habitat for Humanity enters a new chapter, I want to take a moment to thank you—our neighbors, volunteers, donors, and partners—who have made this work so meaningful. As my tenure as Executive Director comes to an end, I would like to express my profound gratitude for the steadfast support and collaboration this community has extended to Jackson County Habitat for Humanity.
Serving this organization has been both a privilege and a joy. Together, we’ve built more than homes—we’ve built relationships, hope, and a stronger foundation for families across Jackson County. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering generosity, dedication, and compassion you have all shown.
As I transition out of this role, I do so with full confidence in the dedicated team and board who will continue advancing this mission. The work is in capable hands—and, more importantly, it remains rooted in a community that cares deeply for one another.
Thank you for the honor of serving alongside you. I will continue to cheer on Jackson County Habitat as it grows, builds, and uplifts even more families in the years ahead.
With gratitude,
Ellena G. Pennybacker
