We offer three different home repair services according to your needs. Click through the drop-down section below to learn what each program entails, eligibility requirements, and service applications. 

Our Critical Home Repair program is designed to assist existing homeowners with larger repair projects. Repairs may include HVAC, foundation work, and roofing repairs.

Program Qualifications:

  • Own and live in the home for at least one year
  • Meet income requirements
  • U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
  • Active homeowner’s insurance
  • Current mortgage and property tax payments
  • Complete required sweat-equity hours
  • Be present during the repair project
  • Demonstrate need for repairs based on inspection

How To Apply:

Home Preservation is designed to revitalize existing properties in the area. The program targets exterior home repairs including but not limited to: painting, minor exterior repairs, neighborhood cleanup, landscaping, and general safety repairs. The eligibility requirements are the same as home ownership – ability to pay, willingness to partner, and overall need.

Jackson County Habitat partners with the Jefferson Rotary Club to build ramps for low-income, disabled individuals to improve their quality of life. If you or someone you know is disabled and in need of a ramp, rails, door widening, etc…, we would love for you to submit an application. As with all of our programs, each applicant must meet our eligibility requirements.
